Ηand Painted Statue of Hecate
$423.00
The three-faced Hecate, goddess of magic, phantasms, and crossroads of ancient Greece, is to this day the living spirit that empowers every occult ritual.
Tradition wants her to be worshiped outdoors, but figurines of the goddess have also been found from domestic altars. Archaeological findings sometimes depict the goddess with a conical headdress that indicates both her relationship with the sky, transcendental knowledge (sacred flame that illuminates the Nous) as well as being a receiver to place incense offerings.
The stele reveals the synergy of the four elements (water and earth that form the body – fire and air that extends from the head), under the plain gaze of the goddess who turns to the three directions of the world. The body of the goddess is surrounded by her animal symbols as a horse, dog and bull according to the Chaldean Oracles, while at the base of her body, the Ouroboros Ophis declaring her supremacy over Time and the Aions.
The stele is made to be an object of devotional focus as well as a spiritual bridge for the performance of the mage / witch’s offerings to the goddess.
The statue is made of excellent quality porcelain and is fully hand painted just like all ancient Greek figurines were. It’s also decorated perimetrically with embossed ornaments, animal faces as well as integrated brass rosettes, metallic keys and with velvet lining on the top and base.
The sculpture is supported on a wooden base made of solid fir wood painted with chestnut-colored varnish. Its thickness is 3cm and the diameter is 14cm with art nouveau aesthetic metal supports.
The height of the statue is 38cm, with a diameter of 11cm, and it weighs nearly 5kg.
Along with the statue we offer you a black translucent fabric (1m of Mousseline fabric) free of charge to cover its three sides so that your gaze meets the goddess only during the hours of magical work, when the human meets the divine element.
